Agroturystyka w gminie Czorsztyn

Abstract

Agrotourism is a form of alternative tourism which means that it is not being organized by specialized tourist offi ces, on a mass scale. It is frequently considered to be rural tourism but in fact it is not. Rural tourism is defi ned as temporary residence at private summer houses, boarding houses, small camp cities etc. Overwhelming majority of researchers investigating the problem lean towards opinion that agrotourism is strictly connected with a farm. Principal purpose of the paper was to discuss opportunities of practising agrotourism in Czorsztyn commune. The issue was presented in the context of existing in the commune agrotourist associations as well as the results of poll inquiries which were carried out at the commune among tourists resting on agrotourist farms.
